In July 2007, Dr. Derrick L. Campbell founded and is presently the Chief Executive Officer of DLC Consultant Group, which specializes in educational and organizational change. Dr. Derrick L. Campbell authored his first book, Promoting Positive Racial Teacher-Student Classroom Relationships in January 2008. He developed a Cultural Relationship Training Program that promotes positive racial teacher-student classroom relationships. He also developed the B.O.S.S. Leadership Training Program which improves manager-employee workplace relationships. He authored his second book, Leading Your Marriage into the Promised Land in February 2009. He has also facilitates a Leading Your Marriage into the Promised Land training seminar. He has lectured at various locations throughout the nation to include the NAACP which include the Perth Amboy, Asbury Park and the Hutchison Kansas NAACP. Dr. Campbell has ministered to the youth at his church on the topic of Christian student rights in the public schools. He has also been a board member of the men’s ministry, Athletes United in Christ, and participated in various church activities. Dr. Campbell has also ministered on the topic: Overcoming the Poverty Cycle: Become a King for the Kingdom of God. In November 2008, Dr. Campbell began the new Radio talk show - Culturally Speaking with Doctor Derrick. On this talk show we discuss the solutions to the cultural challenges that exist in our schools, workplaces, and community.
